Jimmy Carr is back on the Best of, Ultimate Gold, Greatest Hits Tour. Carr is bringing together his best jokes, adding in brand new material and providing the very best of Jimmy Carr to fans across the United Kingdom.

His tour includes shows in the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and Norway.

Carr, the stand-up sensation, started his career in 2000 and has went from being a comedian to also hosting television shows and being an actor. The comedian is known for making it big despite challenges in life. He was part of shell's marketing department before his position became redundant.

Carr prevailed, landing a paid stand-up gig the same month and entering the world of comedy.

His rise to fame has led Carr to tour continuously only stopping for five weeks at a time before going on tour again. His touring has since slowed with the introduction of several television shows and other works. Yet, Carr has been on tour 10 times since 2003 – 2004.

His last tour, prior to the Best Of tour, was titled Funny Business. The tour ended in 2015.

The tour encompasses 15 years of Carr's best jokes. The show promises to be different than others, yet there is a sense of familiarity for fans that have seen the comedian in the past. The jokes on tour are primarily one liners that provide off colour comedy at every beat.

Before Carr makes his appearance on stage, fans are greeted with a large screen that flashes jokes to get the crowd into the night's events.

Fast and furious is the best way to describe the pace that Carr follows when telling his jokes on stage. He transitions from one joke to the next in a way that only a seasoned comedian could do.

Offensive is a cornerstone of Carr's comedy. The comedian always toes the line of what is appropriate and what is offensive. Shock and awe are two words that describe the feeling fans will have as Carr takes the stage in stunning fashion.

Audience members should prepare themselves as every show incorporates audience participation as a major part of the show. The comedian isn't afraid to go off script and interact with the crowd. Polished, fearless and oftentimes tasteless, Carr's jokes roll off of the tongue quickly and will leave the crowd laughing and shaking their heads at times.

Carr's return to touring features the comedian at his best proving he is one of the best comedians of his generation.
